i forgot to mention that when i met her...
i decided to offer my last hammy to her because
it was one of the babies and since buddy died,
i hadn't been in the mood to deal with the
last one. she took him... and named him 'peaches'.

so get a knock on the door today...

she wanted the fucking 10gal. fish tank i kept
the poor bastard in.

i guess her committment to christianity is

Ok so now you have an empty tank. Not sure if you have plans of buying more Hammy's in the future or not but you know what they say. "give a person a piece of toast and next thing ya know they will want the damn butter"

If you aren't going to use it what is the harm in letting her have the tank. It is a small tank and didnt cost much. Would you want peaches to have a nice home she was comfortable with?

I think the reason it bothers you so is not the fact she wants the tank but more so in that she actually asked for it instead of you offering it.

So tomorrow go bang on her door and say hey... I changed my mind I dont really need this now but may in the future. If you would like to use it for Hammy please do so but be willing to give it back if I get another one as they will need a home as well. Then you feel all better, she will feel all better and Hammy has a home.

ok... i left out a bit of information... but
i did so for a reason... so let me back up and
clue you all in.

the hammy was living in a very nice hamster
cage purchased for me by tg. when i was at
the lady's house, and i mentioned giving her
my hammy, i also mentioned the 10gal tank...
because i didn't want to get rid of the cage
tg bought for me.

so she agreed to accept the hammy...

and i come back to my house.

i think for a bit, and decide its better to
give the hammy in the cage tg got for me because
i do not know when i will get another hammy...
and because i DO plan on fixing up my 30 gal
aquarium soon and i'll need that 10gal tank
for sickies and maybe to store the fish in
when i change the water.

anyways...
so i take over the hammy IN the cage... with
all the food i had.

the next day.. she comes calling for the 10gal
tank in addition.

THAT is what is bullshit.

and the reason i didn't want to mention the
tg cage was because i wanted to tell him personally
instead of finding out via this board.

now that i have spoken to him about it, i've
shared the story in its completion.
